EXPERIMENTAL PRINTMAKING - ONLINE PROJECTS |

IEEB (International Experimental Engraving Biennial) initiates a new project:
EXPERIMENTAL PRINTMAKING - online projects
The project is addressed to all visual artists interested in experimental engraving, in new printing techniques, in printmaking and multimedia, engraving-objects, engraving installation and so on. This online project represents an experimental printmaking artworks archive usefully for artists, art critics, curators.
EXPERIMENTAL PRINTMAKING - online projects
Can be accessed on the International Experimental Engraving Biennial web page: www.experimentalproject.ro
Artists are invited to participate to this online project with a portfolio which should contain:
- Experimental printmaking works (maximum 20) JPEG format (RGB, maximum 1500x2000 pixels, maximum 200 dpi). Artists can also present video documentation (DVD)
- an updated CV (in Word)
- a recent photo (JPEG format)
- e-mail address
- personal web-page (according to each case)
The team of the International Experimental Engraving Biennial will analyze each portfolio and will select the artist and works that will have a presentation on our official web site.
All portfolios will be used exclusively to be posted on the International Experimental Engraving Biennial web site for the online project section.
There is no deadline for sending portofolios.
The participation to this online project is free.

Second International Biennale of Graphic Digital Arts - Gdynia 2010 is the second presentation of works in digital media addressed to the artists from home and abroad.
I Biennale has gained immense popularity and has shown that digital image is currently one of the fastest growing areas of art.
The purpose of the International Biennial of Graphic Digital Arts is to analyse and evaluate the phenomenon of the medium of digital graphics. This is to be attained through displaying the best achievements in this field. The exhibition is based on the assumption, that the event will become a common ground for artistic exploration, where exchange of views and experience as well as openness to experiment will contribute to the development in this highly innovative field.
A filled-in and signed registration form with photocopy of proof of payment and digital media should be sent to the ERA ART Association’s address
until 31 may 2010.

2:nd PENANG INTERNATIONAL PRINT EXHIBITION |

Penang State Museum and Art Gallery with the support from The School of the Arts,
Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) will hold the Second International Penang Print Exhibition
to be held at The Penang State Art Gallery. The first exhibition was held in 2007 as an invitational show
in Penang, Malaysia as well as across the border, in Hatyai, Thailand.
The organizing committee would like to invite artistprintmakers from around the world to submit their work for the exhibition.
Print(s) should reach the organiser no later than June 30th., 2010.

THE HONG KONG GRAPHICS ART FIESTA 2010 |

It is with great pleasure that the Hong Kong Open Printshop (HKOP) would like to invite your print studio/printmaker group to join us in the coming international exchange exhibition — Convergence/Divergence — as part of the Hong Kong Graphics Art Fiesta 2010 (HKGAF 2010).
We hope you will be able to join us in this HKGAF — where your prints will be exhibited alongside those from print studiosand printmaker groups from around the world — and make Convergence/Divergence an eye-opening and inspiring event for Hong Kong audiences.
A specially designed full-colour catalogue for the HKGAF 2010 will be produced to accompany the launch of the exhibition. In appreciation of your participation, each artist and each print studio/printmaker group will be presented with a copy of the catalogue as a token of thanks from HKOP.
We have attached the related information and application forms (both for print studios and individual artists) for your perusal.
Please note that the deadline for receipt of all prints, completed application forms and entry fees (see attachments) is 31 July 2010.

THE INTERNATIONAL TRIENNIAL OF GRAPHIC ARTS SOFIA |

The International Triennial of Graphic Arts is a forum aiming to present current trends and achievements in the contemperary graphich art.
The International Triennial of Graphic Art shall institute a collection of works by Bulgarian and foreign graphic artists. The collection shall form the basis for the creation of a Sofia International Triennial of Graphic Arts Museum and shall be exhibited in this country and abroad.
The 6th International Triennial of Graphic Art shall be inaugurated on 7 December 2010 and shall continue until 25 January 2011.
Closing date for receipt of prints in Sofia: 01 September 2010
